It's no a secret that I'm afraid
of a lot of things in this world.
All the right-winged left-brained people
keep telling me

that there is nothing to fear.
However -
because I am afraid of exactly them
- it doesn't help.

Life is not without struggle. It's really hard to know what life will throw at you... I think it's good to be aware that it's inevitable, bad things can and will happen. That way when they do you are better prepared. But it's also hard not to wonder what they will be. I tell myself that it's no way to live... but I have a hard time listening. To be aware is a curse and a blessing.
